Готово! :) Вот этот улетел брату в Ирландию :)
Finished! This one took a plane to Ireland to my brother's family :)

А вот этот полетит в Москоу уже на следующей неделе
And this one is going to meet his new little friend in Moscow next week

  
Первый - 100% хлопок, второй - 100% шерсть :) шерсть толстая, мишка получился башоооой :)
Еще готовы и упакованы 2 игрушки :) одна тож через недельку уже полетит в новый дом, тогда и покажу ;) Вторая - ждем марта :)
 
The first one is 100% cotton, the second is 100% wool. The yarn is so thick the teddy turned out really big :)
Sneak preview - another two toys are finalized and packed already :) One of them is planning on leaving for the new home next week already, the second one is waiting for March :)

Amigurumi

Подсела я конкретно на этих японских малявок :) сколько разных схем, глаза разбегаются! Да и по одной и той же схеме такие разные малыши получиться могут при желании! :)
Вяжутся и собираются быстро, доставляя в процессе море удовольствия :) Набивать только вот такие махонькие лапки - ррррр :)
Вот, тож сегодня малыш добрался до своей семьи :) На сегодняшний день моя самая маленькая малявка :) Панда, сидя получается росточком как раз поперек ладони :)

I think I am now officially addicted to these japanese babies. So wide variety of different patterns! And even when using the same pattern the outcome is so totally different every time :)
The knitting and finalizing doesnt take up much time at all, but it is such a delight at the same time. Stuffing is a hard job with these tiny beings, though, arrgghhh.
Anyways, today the baby panda finally arrived to his new family. For the present moment this is the tiniest of my creations - the sitting panda fits right across the palm of the hand :)

These little babies made it to their new families so I can finally show them off here too :) Madisson and Amigurumi bunny - both 100% cotton, really nice to the touch, be careful not too loose yourself in embracing them :)

The Year of a White Tiger

Обещалась я больше не браться за крючок в 2009, но не удержалась :) И получились в подарок бабушкам с дедушками на Рождество символы года :)
Так что жили у бабусей два веселых .. тигра :)

I did promise myself not to touch the crochet anymore in 2009, nevertheless the symbols of the coming Year were born right before Christmas. Both of them went to live with the grandparents. This one now resides in Tartu

Ну а рыженький живет теперь на соседней улице :)
And the Red one is just a few hundred feet away next street :)

Toy bunny-purse

Последней моей поделкой в этом году (не факт, что последней, но стараюсь сдержать данное себе и своей семье обещание) стал сумчатый зайка :) уехал в подарок маленькой девочке в 45км от Таллинна :) Моя девочка согласилась отпустить его только после моего обещания связать ей такого же. В субботу ходили нитки присматривали уже, но "неть, и такая" - таких, как придумали, не нашли :)

 
My last crochet toy this year (as I keep promising myself and my family :)) is this bunny purse. The bunny went to live with a little girl 45km away from Tallinn. My baby agreed to this only when I promised her a similar toy-purse. We already went looking for the right thread, but Chris couldn't find the "right one", so we will keep on looking for now :)

Twilight Girls

Есть еще фанаты майеровской саги типа меня? Чтоб и книги все до дыр почти зачитаны, и фильмы-саундтреки постоянно играют? :)

Нашла я родственные души, которые, глядя на все вышеописанное, не качают озабоченно головой и не крутят пальцем у виска :) нашла ажно в Германии и в Израиле :)

Ну и вот, идея родилась сама собой :) И получилось две сестренки Кристининой кукле :)

Are there any Twilight saga fans like myself here? With the books read until there are holes in the covers, replaying the movies and daydreaming to the soundtracks? :)

I actually have at least two soulmates, who do not roll their eyes and start running through the numbers of the psychiatric hospitals behind my back when seeing all of the above-mentioned. So the idea was bourn all by itself and there are now two sisters of Christina's redhead living in Germany and Israel.

My very first, a redhead :)

Началось все с обьявления в саду, что на выставку просят через месяц принести сделанную своими руками игрушку. Ясно, что не ребенок двухлетний это делать будет, так что стала я думать. Вроде как не хотелось чего то ради отмашки, начала рыться по просторам интернета в поисках идей. И тут нашла! И просто влюбилась в нее! :) И вот неделю спустя, ибо первая это была в моей жизни самодельная куколка, родилось такое чудо

It all started like in fairy tales :) somewhere around Christmas time, when the kindergarden teachers gave us an assignment to bring a handmade toy for an exhibition. Since my two-year-old clearly needed help with this assignment, I started thinking what the handmade toy could be.. I did want something the kids could play with at home after the exhibition is over, so I started surfing the net looking for ideas. And I found HER! Oh, it was love at first sight :) So a week later (it did take long since it was my very first handmade crochet toy) this little redhead was bourn :)

And in a little while more she already looked just dazzling :)

Надо заметить, на выставку кукла не попала - Кристина ее просто не отдала. Максимум, на что мой ребенок согласился - это подобие дневного стационара :) То есть утром принесла, вечером унесла :) Так и ходит с ней. Спит с ней :) играет с ней. От сестренки оберегает :)

Есть у рыжули куча недостатков на мой взгляд, но переделывать рука не поднимается :) да и не дадут мне :)


I have to admit the redhead never made it to the exhibition - Christina just would not agree with the idea of giving the toy away for a while. So the doll just "came" to the location in the morning and left in the afternoon. Well, like any other little kindergardener :) My daughter went everywhere with her. Slept with her. Played with her. Hid her from the baby sister :)


The redhead has tons of mistakes to my mind, but I just cannot bring myself to taking anything apart and remaking it.. that is if I was ever given a chance to do so :)
